Whatsapp founder Jan Koum leaves the messaging company that was purchased in 2014 by Facebook fors ome billion US-Dollars .
Koum confirmed this late Monday in a message on his Facebook page.
"It is time for me to go", writes Koum. "I will still applaud WhatsApp - but only from outside the company."
It does appear there are differences of opinion with Zuckerberg CEO Facebook
